I have been introduced to Five Deez (Fat Jon, Pase Rock, Kyle David and Sonic) back in 1999 or 2000 while listening to a local underground hip-hop radio show and it was a lot different from any underground hip-hop I had ever heard. Fat Jon, the producer and also one of the MC has a style of his own, I would qualify his beats as hip-hop with a touch of house music. Five Deez have released 4 albums, Fat Jon has 6 as intrumental albums and a couple with other rappers such as J.Rawls and Styrofoam. Fat Jon also colaborated with Nujabes for the Samurai Champloo soundtracks.
